Philadelphia and New York City – December 2019 / January 2020
We spent the week following Christmas in Philadelphia to celebrate the holidays in the city. Quite a bit of time was spent at the house playing games and poker, but we had a few adventures into the city and surrounding areas as well.
Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, and Caribbean Cruise – November 2019
This was our first Thanksgiving week trip, which included a few days in Fort Lauderdale and Miami before embarking on a five night Royal Caribbean cruise aboard the Independence of the Seas. Our cruise left from Fort Lauderdale and visited two ports: Georgetown, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico.
Washington D.C. – November 2019
In November 2019, we met up with Shannon for a quick weekend trip to Washington D.C. to say goodbye to our favorite D.C. museum, the Newseum, that had announced that they would be closing at the end of the year.
Chicago – August 2019
In August 2019, we spent one night in Chicago to spend one night visiting a few places throughout the city, including the Hamilton Experience, which was on tour in town.
Philadelphia – May 2019
Though as of writing this we’ve traveled to Philadelphia quite a few times over the past year or so, in May 2019 we took our first trip together from Milwaukee to Philadelphia to visit Sam’s sister Shannon over the Memorial Day long weekend.
Orlando & Ft. Myers Beach – March 2019
This trip was the perfect mix of excitement and relaxation. We spent the first half at two of our favorite theme parks in Orlando before heading off to Fort Myers Beach for the last couple days.
